Aaron the Goose Book Series

Inspired by One Extraordinary Life

The Aaron the Goose Book Series is inspired by the true life of Aaron Anthony "Goose" McArthur and was created to preserve his legacy while helping children and families build stronger connections through storytelling.

Rather than focusing on the tragedy of addiction, the series first celebrates the life of a little boy who grew into a remarkable young man. Readers experience Aaron's journey from birth through childhood, adolescence, and adulthood, discovering the kindness, compassion, adventures, dreams, and family relationships that made him who he was.

By first getting to know Aaron, readers come to understand an important truth:

Addiction does not define a person, and it can happen to any family.

More Than Children's Books

The Aaron the Goose Book Series was created to encourage meaningful conversations between children, parents, grandparents, caregivers, teachers, and classrooms.

Each story is designed to promote:

Love • Family • Faith • Kindness • Compassion • Friendship • Character • Courage • Resilience • Gratitude • Hope • Childhood • Emotional Wellness • Open Communication • Life Lessons

As the series grows with Aaron, readers grow alongside him—celebrating milestones, learning important life lessons, overcoming challenges, and discovering the importance of family, friendship, empathy, and making good choices.

A Message of Faith and Hope

The Aaron the Goose Book Series is written from my own journey of faith, love, and hope.

Throughout the series, readers will discover themes of kindness, compassion, forgiveness, gratitude, perseverance, family, and hope. My Christian faith has influenced these stories because it has been an important part of my own life and healing.

At the same time, I recognize that families around the world express faith in different ways and come from many different beliefs and traditions. My hope is that every reader—regardless of their faith—will find encouragement in the universal values these stories share: love, kindness, forgiveness, compassion, hope, and the importance of caring for one another.

The books are not intended to promote one religion or one set of beliefs. Instead, they celebrate the universal values of love, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, hope, family, and helping others. They are intended to remind children and families that every life has purpose, every act of kindness matters, and every day offers an opportunity to make the world a little better.
